Craft For A Cause The Arizona Craft Brewers Foundation is a separate organization from the Guild, but relies upon the Guild for labor and organization. Funds that are raised for the Foundation during a campaign do not go to the Guild. All time and resources are provided to the Foundation by the Guild at no charge. Educational Fund George Hancock This Fund was created in honor of the passing of Theresa who bravely fought brain cancer and inspired those in the Arizona brewing industry.

Good Works Recent
  •  $25,000 was gifted to the a family that lost their brewer son to a traffic accident.
  • Within the same month, $5,500 was provided to a brewer when he lost his wife to brain cancer.
  • $9,400 was raised at a Tempe event to help a bartender who needed surgery to remove a tumor near her eye.
  • There was a tragic double shooting in downtown Phoenix and two workers at a craft beer bar were killed. We passed on a small check to the family.
  • A brewery rep was having difficulty after a brain injury, the foundation held an event that raised $12,000 for her.
  • The owner of a Tucson brewery underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor. The foundation raised $6,300 for her.
  • Funded a trip to a brewer’s conference for 9 brewery employees.
  • A distributor rep passed away from a cardiovascular event. The distributor and the foundation provided $5,500 to the family.
  • Provided a small contribution to a brewer who lost work due to a bicycle accident.
  • Helped another organization run an event that provided $1,400 to children’s charity.
  • Provided a sales rep $2,500 after he lost his spouse.
  • Funded a trip to a brewer’s conference for 4 brewery employees.
  • Helped fund eye surgery for a distributor’s son.
  • Provided a benefit to a family when their son, a bartender at a local bar, unexpectedly passed.
  • With help from people throughout the beer industry, we raised $45,000 from a March event for a designer who works for the Guild and several Arizona breweries.
